Filgaia Safe
I finished Wild ARMS: Alter Code F last night. I’ve really enjoyed this game over the last ten months. It’s going to be weird not starting the PlayStation 2 and having it start up. The game took a while to complete, though: 73 hours, five minutes, and 33 seconds. That was probably the games biggest drawback. While I love playing a good game, the novelty begins to wear at times, and I have to stop. As a result, a new game sounds like more fun. I’m more for the thirty hour game than the fifty hour one, and I’m definately more in favor of playing three fifty hour games than two seventy-five hour ones.
Another gripe was that the battles were a little too frequent. I like fighting battles, but when I’m running back and forth between two rooms to do something I’d like to be able to do so in less than ten battles.
My final gripe was with the quality of the prerendered movies. The movies all looked soft and fuzzy. It was actually nicer to see the PS2’s graphics than the pre-rendered ones in my opinion.
Despite my gripes, the game was really fun and now I want to play Wild ARMS 4, but I must hold off because Final Fantasy XII is in 18 days.
Final stats:
- Encounters cancelled: 7
- Battles fought: 1339
- Continues used: 3
- Enemies defeated: 2874
- Maximum damage to an enemy: 20092
- Saves: 120

Ya know.. I can officially say that I’ve never actually finished any RPG I’ve started.
FF7? Not done. Various Zelda games? Just haven’t taken the effort to fight the final boss. FF10? I haven’t even cracked it out of its case. Yeah. I’ve logged a good many hours on all of those games, but I dunno.. I just can’t finish them for some reason.
