This weekend was good. I played a lot of Xenosaga: Episode II. I’m seven hours into the game, and I’m on the second disc. There’s that much dialogue. The only thing that really bothers me about the game is that the load times aren’t that great. I guess I’ll love my PlayStation 3 for such a purpose in a few years. Other than load times, the game is pretty good. The story is interesting enough that I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
I truly dislike working in JavaScript, because it’s hard to write perfectly cross-browser scripts. The flip side of that statement is that I do like writing in JavaScript, because I don’t have to worry so much about the fact that each page is generated from the server. I got started writing some new JavaScript today, and I’m quite happy with the results. It’s fairly simple, but that’s alright. What I’ve written is a couple functions that add and delete rows from a table at request and keep track of them for form submission later. It’s neat.
