Friday, Thoi asked me if I’d like to go to lunch with Shaun and him. That was nice, because I don’t really talk much with the people at work other than on work-related issues.

I also got to write rudimentary support for mailing lists management using one of our web systems on Friday. It was so much fun, I can’t even begin to explain.

Saturday, I got a call from some inebriated friends. Nic was incredibly apologetic about me having to “put up” with everyone; even though I had to work the next morning, it was worth being able to see everyone for a whopping forty-five minutes.

Something happened yesterday that I wanted to comment on, but I have no idea what. I’m sure it will come to me while driving home.

Forbidden Culture

I won a CD from the radio station today at work. Someone won a contest and we got free food and prizes.

You know what disgusts me? The FBI Anti-Piracy Warning logo on the back of the disc. I’ve seen it on some other CDs too, but it just bothers me. It’s a lot like the warnings placed on home videos. Scare tactics just don’t seem right on pieces of culture.
