The Island of Doctor Moreau

Tuesday, November 9th, 2004

I hung out with Mandy last night. It was absolutely hilarious. We took these packets of beads from the Wal-Mart and tried to see who could stack the most animals. The cow beats interlock, so Mandy got seven stacked, but she had to use ten in order to weigh down the pile. Amongst other activities, I decapitated a cow with a hammer and chisel.

This all started with an idea to use the beads that look like a man to create a new superstar, Manbead.

Oh, hello! My name is Julian! I’m 22 years old, and I’m your new production analyst. Sorry I was late for work this morning, Mandy and I were busy trying to put a saftey pin through a cow-shaped bead by using a lighter to make it more malleable.

A Job!

I was offered a position as a production analyst today. It’s part of their information technology department, so I’m going to take it. I’m way excited, because it should help me get the experience that I’m needing to move forward with my career. I finally feel like I’m going to get a break.

I also got the boost ball in Metroid Prime, which is almsot as exciting as the job. For the longest time I was stuck in that game, guess taking some time off really helps. I die every time I get it, but that’s not a problem. I just need to learn how to get through one more room on the way back to the save station and I’m set. Practice shall make perfect.
