IF you are planning to attend the university graduation ceremony in Hilton on Saturday, May 8, be sure to be there by 12:45. The graduation evaluators will be lining up graduates by college (the LAS College is the last college marching in). It would be terrific if several (or ALL) of you could get together in a group.
After the speech by John Pappajohn, there will be a short speech by President Geoffrey. They will then start calling the graduates from the various colleges up. You’ll march up, one by one, on both parts of the stage. As your named is called and you shake hands up Dr. Geoffrey, look up on the first balcony.
Congratulations!!! You are personifications of the statement by J. Hudson Taylor “It’s not how many hours you put in, but how much you put into the hours”.
I am glad I had the opportunity to know you—Gloria
