And I Say “Hey! What’s Goin’ On?”
The HIV & Hepatitus Coalition meeting went well. I didn’t feel as stupid as I thought I would. Most of the people there are actually interested to hear what I have to say, despite my own doubts. Still, I’m the youngest person there, and sometimes I get self-conscious about that, as if I won’t get taken seriously because of my lack of experience. No, I don’t know everything that’s going on, but, yes, I am capable of doing anything that’s asked of me. I can learn anything that I don’t know. It’s all in my head, I guess.
Josh, Xak, Mandy, Veronica, and I went to the Lumberyard on Saturday. It was an interesting experience. I was afraid that I would be incredibly bored, but in the back of my mind I figured that the company would make up for it, and it did. I actually had a really good time, and I got to maintain that I would receive no lap dances. Veronica got some clit in her face. She said that she just laughed and thought, “What do I do with this? I’m straight.” Funny times. I had a good enough time that I would actually go back if I was with the right company.
I got Epiphany built today, which is exciting. The GARNOME build continues to progress. It looks like I really might get GNOME 2.6 installed on my system, despite being on dialup.
I was going to code on our project this evening. I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I am tired of looking at this source code. It’s for something that I’m not particularly interested in, and it’s coming out of my free time. It wouldn’t be such a big deal if I was being paid or if it didn’t directly come out of my time to get other homework done. I quite enjoy the API that has been developed. It’s pretty clean, and technically pretty neat. I’m just kind of burnt out on this free-time eating homework.

I’m glad you were sufficiently entertained, I was hoping it didn’t totally suck.
