Sleepless Weekend
It was a long weekend. Friday, I slept in again, so I wasn’t able to sleep well on Friday night. That evening, Dean and I were going to go see a movie. I got to his place and he was on the phone with some people making plans and looking up times. We took off at about 6:10 p.m. and went for Villiage Inn to eat first. VI was packed, but we got a spot, and the wait was fifteen minutes. Kim Pritchard was going to meet us for dinner, but her oil light came on so she almost didn’t come. She ended up leaving late and we waited for her to order. By the time that we got our food, it was like twenty minutes before the movie started. We decided to just eat a nice meal and skip the movie. Carol came for dessert, and we talked for a long, long time. We ended up spending about three and a half ours at VI. That’s right, I spent my Friday night at a VI. It was good times.
After rising early on Saturday and working, I went out with Mandy, Veronica, and Josh. We had pizza at Pizza Hut. It was yummy. They messed up our order, so it took forever to get our food. I thoroughly enjoy Pizza Hut pizza, though. I can inhale it compared to other kinds of pizza. Jordan Jensen was working at Pizza Hut as well. It was neat to see Jordan again, even though we didn’t really talk more than getting us seated and ready to go. After a quick trip for alcohol we went back to Mandy’s and put some movies on in the background. Veronica’s friends Crystal and Ryan Ellis (who’s lsat name must be used in conjuction with the first name, I am told) came over. I figured out as Crystal left why Veronica always describes her times with Crystal as “fabulous.”
One of the things that I noticed was the over-application of the gay thing, though. While Crystal was there, it almost seemed like it was a “required” topic, which was kind of odd. I guess that’s one of the things that I’ve always appreciated about Veronica. She’s never made it that way. She just seems to talk, and if it applies, she asks in the most non-chalant way, “Do you think this person is hot?” It’s not that I don’t get that from a lot of people, but the degree is just increased in Veronica’s case. Most people are really good about it, actually. Furthermore, Crystal was really, really nice and I hold no ill feelings towards her. I just wanted to express my appreciation of the way that Veronica’s treated me in the past.
I got home way too late on Saturday, and slept way too little for work on Sunday. Ugh. Of course, Sunday night I took a five hour nap, so I’m feeling pretty good today!

awwww, I feel special!
Crystal’s just kinda nutty, she doesn’t mean anything by it. it took me a while to get used to her.
and I’m sorry I left you guys on saturday, I didn’t really know what was going on, honestly, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.
anyways, I’m glad we all (mostly, I think) had a good time.
