International Hit on Taylor Day

Monday, October 27th, 2003

The other destresser that I had this afternoon was declaring that Wednesdays will be known as International Hit on Taylor Day from here on. As a result, every Wednesday my web site will display the Hit on Taylor Day banner so that everyone can quite literally hit on Taylor. It’s going to be cool.

Image creation has always been a relaxing thing for me. It takes me some time, but I think that’s why it relaxes me. I have enough time to actually forget my worries. Also, since I’m not the bomb with image software (layers confuse me), there’s a real thought process behind my actions, letting me take my mind off of the problem. Plus, when I’m done, I have something to show for my time.

I have a member to my tutoring group now. That means that the rate drops, which is exciting because I’m poor. It may also aleviate some of the ackwardness associated with this tutor. Things are fine as we go through the material, but every time we end he just seems to dart. It’s almost as if I scare him (which really wouldn’t be an entirely new feeling).

Top of the Totem Pole

This have gone better today. I thought of a solution for the Youth Alliance issues, which will makes me happy. Not that this solution has been adopted, but being constructive in solving the problem aleviates my worries.

I’ve calmed down about what happened with Dean on Saturday night. At this point, it hasn’t been quite so recent and I’ve slept more than four and a half hours, so it’s easier to not just be overwhelmed by what went down. Furthermore, I have a solution to another problem, so I feel like things are headed back to normal equilibrium in general even if it could still be a long time.

I also registered for classes this morning. It’s nice to be on the top of the totem pole for a change. I got into everything exactly as planned, except for my Java and Internet programming course’s lab. The department of electrical and computer engineering mysteriously axed the section that I wanted to take, but I was able to get into one that worked out just as nice. I won’t have class on Fridays next semester. I am psyched.
