Mission Complete!
Mission complete! My hair is now cut. I am glad to have it finally done. It was five inches long. That’s what working thirteen days in a row at all hours of the day after already delaying a haircut will do. Suddenly you’re scrambling to get ready for classes to start and you don’t get your hair cut. Good thing it’s cut now. Yep.
I saw Luke on Friday night. I hadn’t seen him since our siblings graduated high school in May. It was cool to see him again. I was at Rock Bottom Brewery with friends from work, since it was Kim’s birthday. Luke Rederus was also there. I hadn’t seen him since we graduated high school in 2000. Luke’s hot roomate, Basil was there along with Erik Solan, who I see every now and then on campus but generally try to avoid.
Luke asked if I was at the restraunt with family. When I replied that I wasn’t, it seemed as if everyone’s faces kind of dropped. Why would I be with people that were not my age if it wasn’t family? It didn’t seem to make sense to them, even when I explained that it was a coworker’s birthday so hence, not everyone will be my friend but the birthday girl’s friends. From there, things just got awkward. I tried to change the subject and ask how Luke Rederus had been, as I hadn’t seen him for three years, but to no avail. Answers were short.
I’ve probably overanalyzed the situation. Most likely no one knew what to say, but didn’t think anything of it at all. Still, I have to wonder at times what people really think.

weird. I would like to see Rederus again, though.

I’d like to see rederus again as well. I used to run into him at JJ’s everyonce in a while when he was back, but I’m rarely there now.
I’d also like to be involved in plans with some of my other friends as well, but I guess that’s up to them.
