Anxious Heart
I got my car on Friday. It’s cute, and I like it. I’m hoping to take better care of this one than I did the last one. I took decent care of the last car with respect to keeping it running, but the inside and outside were always horrid.
Dean’s birthday celebration on Friday was a good time. I gave him his Transformers DVDs before we left and his card. The card made him cry, because I’m cool like that. He also really liked the DVDs. I was glad, because I wasn’t sure if he would like them or not. Dinner and the Funny Bone were amusing.
The rest of the weekend was uneventful. On Saturday, I came to work and things never did seem to go right. Afterwards, Dean tried to tell me that he would especially like to see me some extra this week. As nice as this sounds, it’s more offensive than anything else. I do my best to see him as much as I can, and then he goes off and gets whiney because I had to work on Saturday evening like somehow I have to “make it up” to him. At the moment I am still incredibly busy and will be until about Tuesday after next.
I probably need to learn to relax a bit and just have more fun, but I just really want to stay academically motivated. Usually when I prescribe to the “relax a bit” philosophy I end up in a spiral where all I do is relax. Maybe I’m just scared of slipping.
Mandy called tonight. She says that she wants to talk to me. I’m not sure what about, but I’m going to talk to her before she has to work on Saturday. I hope everything’s alright. All I know is that it was more complex than she wanted to go into on the telephone. I’m vaguely worried, but I don’t know what should have my worrying.
The agenda for this week is supplimental instruction Monday and Wednesday; catch up on America Is in the Heart, by Carlos Buloson and not fall behind on When I Was Puerto Rican; finish the web pages for Youth and Shelter Services by Wednesday; programming languages homework on Tuesday and maybe Wednesday if it doesn’t get accomplished; physics pre lab on Wednesday; tutoring on Thursday; rip a whole in the space-time continuum to see Dean; and go to ISCORE in place of Spanish class on Friday. Whee!

Hey, thanks :) Things are actually a lot better today. Just a bit of “mental overload” last night!

My guestbook does not send spams! Does it? And I’m working on getting a picture up. In order to do that I must a)do my hair (which I haven’t done in three days) and b) take a semi-presentable photgraph. We’ll see!
