Car Shopping
I got up very late today. I had to speed to get to work, but it all turned out okay. Work was somewhat boring today. I didn’t do a whole lot. I always had something to do, but the urgency just wasn’t there. It can make for a long day.
After work I went to go look at cars with mom and dad. I had forgotten what it’s like on a car lot with real car salesmen. Naturally, when they asked if I had seen anything I liked, I told them. Oops. I’m feeling more comfortable with being around them now, but I still don’t like it. The dark green Saturn drove pretty nice. I wasn’t impressed at the time because I’ve never driven a four-cylinder car. It’s not quiet as quiet as my old V-6, but that’s to be expected. We also saw a nice Neon with even fewer miles on it for even less at another lot. Unfortunately, since it’s kind of purple, I probably won’t be going any further with that.
After that, since I have no friends, I came home. It was actually very good, though. I got all of the things that Youth and Shelter Services needs done for it’s Risky Bussiness web site done for the moment. More things will come up, but it was kind of a large undertaking so I’m glad to have that out of the way for a few days. Unfortunately, their main web site refers to the old Risky Bussiness stuff, so I’ll have to edit all of their pages manually to change that. I’m considering writing a script to do it for me, but that will take a lot of time and data separation nonetheless.
Work tomorrow, and I’ve got to do mad reading for my classes. I sleep.
