What Comes Up During Sex?
Friday, February 28th, 2003Wednesday Luke and I went over to Beth’s to study. We did fairly well, too. I wish we would have been able to start earlier than we did, which was my fault, because if we had been able to we could have finished earlier. Had we planned on finishing by midnight, we could have studied in the library instead, which would have been more productive.
However, it wouldn’t have been nearly amusing enough. Especially since every hour, when the clock let out bird noises as a chime, Luke freaked out. At about 12:58 we were studying and Luke just suddenly looked up at the clock and pointed yelling, “You’re not gonna get me this time, fucker!” Of course, by 1:00 he had forgotten and it did surprise him.
We were there until two’o-clock. After taking Luke back to campus, I found out that my sister’s car had a flat tire. So Luke kept me company and provided suggestions and bits of help while I changed the tire. I didn’t get to bed until after three’o-clock. I think that the exam went about average, though.
Last night the meeting with the Iowa Department of Health was alright. It wasn’t that exciting, but it’s not my job to understand what people do or think in regards to sexual practices. Hopefully whatever was said will be helpful to them. The only thing that was wierd was the first few questions. At first the lady was asking about where we went to pick up partners for sex. Six out of the eight of us were in monogamous relationships, so they were all kind of silent. They were also phrased really poorly, “Where do you go to meet partners?” Romantic partners? To get dates? To get casual sex? What?
I signed my load documents for my car yesterday afternoon. I go to pick it up at three’o-clock this afternoon. I’m excited to have a car again.
It’s Dean’s birthday today as well. Dinner this evening as well as Funny Bone entertainment. After that, I have to go home and work on the Youth and Shelter Services web site. They need changes made by tomorrow. Luckily, I work in the evening tomorrow. I’ll miss my day to really sleep in, but at least I won’t lose giant amounts of sleep.
