Quadrouple Speed!

I skipped discrete math recitation again this morning. It was just way too early. I need to get to bed earlier, but I had a good excuse last night. Josh had to come in and type that outline. Unfortunately, Josh doesn’t know how to work with the lights off so that I can sleep, and he doesn’t know how to run normal word processing software, so I had to teach him how to create an outline in OpenOffice.org Writer, a task which I had never done myself. It turned out to be really easy, and I kind of like the outlining better than Microsoft Word’s. It’s more logical if you ask me.

Physics was boring this morning, which is not usually the case for lecture. I just really didn’t care about anything he had to say.

In other good news, Mandrake Linux now recognizes that my CD burner can burn CDs faster than double speed. No software (including Windows programs) has ever noticed that since I bought the computer. I’m not up to quadrouple speed burning, which is an all-time high! I’m excited for some reason, even though I don’t actually burn many CDs. I still have the spindle of 100 that my parents bought me two years ago. It’s about half gone now, thanks to the brothers wanting copies of CDs. I don’t mind, though. I just use my minidiscs, and that makes me happy. Speaking of CDs, though, I need to make Andrew a Yasunori Mitsuda CD bundled with some Nobuo Uematsu MP3s. I have for too many Uematsu songs to get onto one disc.

The agenda for today is to eat lunch, go to discrete math and speech, afterwards do physics, and maybe even work on discrete math homework before supplimental instruction for physics at eight. All of this with Esperanto flash cards every hour, because I’m going to do another lesson tomorrow evening. Wednesday is my extreme productivity day.

Wed is my sit around and do nothing day! Yay!

Anyways. I think I got the XML thing working again, if not e-mail me, and I’ll see what I have to do, it’s set up the same as the old one used to be, so it should work.

    Damn UNIX permissions! lol
