Do I Know Discrete Math?
This weekend was so-so. We went to Jessie’s birthday party on Saturday. It was good to see everyone, and I had a good time. There was DDR, and I unfortonately missed the game of Twister aftewards. I think Twister is the perfect follow up to DDR.
Sunday I had a family picture, and studied with Luke for our discrete math test today. We tried to study for a while, but the more we looked at it, the easier it seemed to be. I’m hoping that the exam isn’t going to be too bad. I have my crib sheet made, and I’m confident at my ability with the material. I guess if I feel that I know everything that there’s nothing to do but go kick is ass or get my ass kicked.
Luke came to the library with me afterwards to look for a book for a speech I have to give this Friday. We looked, but to no avail. There were many interesting discussions along the way, which is common to hanging out with Luke. It was generally a good time. Besides, there’s an almost complete version of the book online.
After staying up late last night writing an outline for a speech, I came to the library at 9 am this morning to meet with my speech group. One of the guys asked if we could meet later–so I basically wasted my time getting up early. Bess and I sat around and talked for about an hour while he went off to do other homework.
I can’t help but feel slightly nervous for this exam, but I don’t know how else I would prepare. I guess I’ll go look at some stuff a bit more before I actually take it, but I have a feeling that I’m not going to absorb the information any better, regardless of whether it’s absorbed well at this point or not.
