Defiance via Music
Friday, August 30th, 2002Yesterday was okay. My dad had to take me to class, because my brother’s car was dead and Josh still had to go to work. Class was fairly uneventful, and I was done at noon and home by two, thanks to my mother. I played some Dance Dance Revolution, and that was that. I’m getting better at that game, actually.
I napped from 5:00 to 7:30, which was awesome. I was really beat. For a good part of the rest of the evening I lounged around since a whole lot hadn’t happened in class. I did my homework later, and decided to bust out the minidisc player and record my Para Para Max 3 CD (anime songs remixed dance style). Now I have Para Para Max 3 for my listening enjoyment on campus.
This brings me to my next topic, which is my recitation teacher for speech. She seems really nice, but she was talking about how we couldn’t listen to CD players in class and that we needed to turn off our cell phones. This is all fine and good, but she was using kids walking into class with CD players as an example of being really rude to the professors. Who knows if they actually listened to the music during lecture. I doubt many did on the first day. So, I’m going to class with my music on, and then I’ll take it off for lecture.
The college adventure continues…
