Mu gustaria mis skillz de espaņol
Tuesday, April 30th, 2002This weekend’s been good. I’ve been busy, so this is the first chance I’ve really had to write in my journal.
Friday I drug Dean to K-Mart, where I purchased a digital camera. It’s really cool. I bought a Sony Cybershot, which just sounds dirty now that I think about it. It’s way cute, and it takes movies, too. I’m still figuring out how to work it. Unfortunately, gPhoto doesn’t have drivers for my camera, so I may have to ues my dad’s computer to get the photos, but whatever.
Saturday I satisfied a craving for chimichangas that I’d had all week. I assume that I’l have that craving again, so I’m going to a Spanish farewell dinner at Cazador on Thursday. Yay! for chimichangas!
On Sunday I gave my summer availability stuff to Melinda. She asked me what I thought about being a CSM, since the hours matched, I guess. I told her that, “it would be fine,” so we’ll see where that goes. I hope she wasn’t expecting a more enthusiastic reaction, because I don’t really care that much. I have my own little world where I work, and it’s good. However, learning something new also interests me. The biggest perk is that I might get a raise, other that that, whatever.
I was running around looking for prom stuff on Monday. I sent out twelve more letters. That totals nineteen. I would send more out, but I don’t know who to send them to. I searched through Linda’s office for a prom notebook. After looking through numerous file cabinets, binders, and desk drawers, all I could find was three sheets of looseleaf paper and some receipts. That was a bit of a dissappointment. Whatever, though.
I wrote Mike S. a letter of reccomendation to attend the Human Rights Campaign’s Youth College. I’m quite proud of the letter. It’s all neat-o. I can sound so professional in letters to people that don’t know me. Heh.
I had my final oral exam for Spanish this morning. I got 45/50 without studying. I had mad Spanish skillz.Math test tomorrow. Eep.
