Today I finally filed my taxes. The good news: I get $667 back. The bad news: I have $6.23 in the bank after processing fees.

Every year I tell myself that I’ll learn the moral of the story: File your taxes as soon as you get your W-2. I haven’t done that yet. I always wait until I’m in a financial bind. I guess it makes good rainy-day funds, if nothing else.

I keep thinking of ways that I can spend my tax refund. I could buy the Final Fantasy X OST, or get the CD player installed in my car, or maybe I could finish buying tires for my car. Hopefully, I’ll do the responsible thing and buy tires, saving the rest for summer tuition.

I’ll have to see about that. The other two options sound pretty nice.

Chrono Cross OST

I had a lot of trouble falling asleep last night. I was up until probably two or so. I had to get up early today to pick up Beth as well. I’ve taken two naps today already, and I may head off to bed early tonight.

Tonight was my birthday dinner. I almost made plans to go out tonight, but I remembered around noon, thank goodness.

My mom prepared Javanese dinner. I took a few bites and I choked on it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t easy choking, either. I was up caughing up rice for a long time. When I finally got to dinner, it was cold.

I’ve decided that twenty sucks. Nothing but icky stuff has happened since I turned twenty. First the tires, now dinner. I guess I’ll see if I survive dessert.

I got to talk to Justin today. He’s not feeling well. He had to go to the hospital for some muscular thing. After losing his job, he says that he has four dollars. I feel bad for him, too. Hopefully twenty won’t do anything strange to him.
