A Royal Ass-raping

Thursday, December 20th, 2001

I just took my differential equations final. It was a total ass-raping. I mean it was bad. Really bad. You’d think the guy would give the class a bit of a break since most of us have poor grades and he doesn’t grade but a few times a year. Oh no. Of course not. Instead he writes a final that takes too fucking long to even complete. There were TWO problems on the method of variation of parameters for second order equations. This is the very method that he said took too long to do. What the hell?

I’m just hoping I don’t have to take math again next semester. Fucker.

In other news I only have one final left and I’m done for the semester. After that, I’m going to Ankeny to do gift exchange with Dean and Kim. That should be good times.

Last night I spent $1500, too! They made Mandy and myself Board Members for the Youth Alliance board and immediately motioned to spend a bunch of money. I waited for Mandy to go with it, but since she didn’t, I got to approve spending $3000 with Kit. It was good times.

Christmas Shopping

Thursday, December 13th, 2001

I’ve been busy this week. I’ve been Christmas shopping and doing other random things. The bad things about the Christmas shopping is that I never get that much done each time that I go. I need to leave with more of a plan than what I usually do. I’m hoping to get done here really soon here, too.

As busy as I’ve been, not a whole lot has gone on. We took the preliminary steps in planning the Youth Alliance holiday party, and I went to see Dean the last two nights. He was only there last night. To no surprise, we went [gasp] Christmas shopping!

I need to find some more time fo rall of this. I let it all pile up, and now I’m pretty much screwed for time. I have finals next week. Two of them are on Monday/Tuesday, which is bad. The only reason that it’s bad is because I must work this weekend. There was about no way I would be allowed to not work this weekend.

Speaking of work, it’s going to be hell. I’m going to wear my “FEAR” bracelet to work on Saturday. It seems appropriate. Mad scariness for layaway pickup day.

In other news, my car is in the shop. Something went wrong with the thing-a-ma-jig, and a hose is broken so the car gets really hot or something. All I know is that I don’t have a car. I’m hoping there was no engine damage, because I’m poor and don’t really have the money to pay for a huge car repair bill this time of year.
