I got up and got ready today and found a bank statement in the mail. I balanced my checkbook up to yesterday and I had $1.77 in my checking account. It’s a damn good thing that I got paid today. Now that I have a bank statement I can balance my checkbook again. I didn’t realize I was that poor. I guess I should have enough money now, though.
After that I went to Wal-Mart to get my oil changed and get my hair cut. Those two tasks are finally done. When walking into TLE Kevin asked, “Weren’t you just here like a month or something-ago?” I told him that I was, but that I drive a lot. Then I told him that I went to Pella (he’s from there) and somehow I ended up making fun of him and tulips. Good times. I foudn out that TLE does 15-point service, so I’m going to have that done from now on. After getting my hair cut and paying for my oil I went out to go to my car and it was four feet away from the door! I thought that was just super-nice of him, because he knew that it was raining and the car is supposed to go much farther away. Go commerce.
After that I went to Angie’s and we watched some Fushigi Yuugi. Her sister, Lynette, seems to really like it. I guess I can’t go over there without her being able to watch it as well. We’re done with the first thirteen episodes now. I think I’m going to have to take a whole bunch over there next week since I get three days off. Angie’s was really a short trip, because my errands took longer than I had anticipated.
Next I went to work. I had to start filling out a new training plan. I don’t see why it was such a big deal, but apparently it was. I did that, and worked out the rest of my shift. There was a really amusing break with Shannon and Brian (who’s from Pella as well!) in there too.
After work I went to Kim’s and took Dean home very shortly after, and that was my day.
It’s funny how lately this journal has been mostly just rehashing of my days. I think that as long as it’s done correctly it’s fine. The more introspective and therapeutic aspects of my journal haven’t been coming through lately. This is probably because I feel pretty healthy in a mental aspect lately. At least, this is why I assume they haven’t been coming through.
