Okay, so I finished my databases project. I am now done with databases until the final for this class! Now we’re moving into file procesing techniques, which I can do in C/C++. Gee, let me think long and hard about which one I want to use for my projects (C++ for those of you who couldn’t guess).

I think I’m going to go home and nap now. I’m not entirely sure, but that’s what I’m thinking. It will have a lot to do with how awake I feel when I get home and what I want to do. I’m definately getting a haircut today, though. I was annoyed when I couldn’t on Sunday.

So they’re going to start rebuilding my transmission on Monday. I can’t wait to have my car back and I’ve only had it gone for one day. Right now I’m stuck driving around my dad’s Cadillac DeVille. It’s a really nice car, but it’s so big that I don’t really like it. That, and the ride is too smooth. I feel like I’m doing something wrong when I drive it because it’s just so smooth. A smooth ride in a huge car is honestly kind of difficult. I’m not sure how this thing is going ot handle on the ice tonight. Will I know if I start to slip or will I think that it’s just how the car naturally handles? This will be interesting.

I think my calculus midterm was okay. Vero said that I got one of the answers wrong, but I integrated both sides of the equality and they didn’t come out the same. The same is true if you differentiate both sides of the integrands. I think she’s crazy, but we’ll see soon enough.

Okay! Home!

Now Listening to: Star of Darkness (Techno Remix)
Secret of Mana

So this week is officially one of the suckiest ever. On top of having two papers and an exam, which I did poorly on, on the same day, having no timet o study for the calculus midterm (okay, I studied for four hours and went to an SI session), and being frustrated with a project for my databases class (that’s better now), my car’s transmission has gone bad. So I get to spend a large part of my assets on a new transmission. Either that, or I’ll have to get a credit card and charge part of it. Oh, did I mention that I have a huge-ass French test on Monday and that Less Than Jake pulled from their Iowa City show (which I was actually going to buy the tickets for tomorrow night)? Yeah, that happened too. Damn my luck.

On the other hand I found out that the person who wrote the music for Legend of Mana is the same as the one who wrote the music for Parasite Eve. I can’t think of her name right now, but she is the queen of boss music. She’s also really good with the PlayStation’s synthesizer. Like so good that there are several parts on the Parasite Eve OST where I have thought I was listening to a live performance of a song. I have seriously forgotten that it was synth. This lady is totally awesome with the PlayStation.
