…You know, this whole election this is getting really boring. Mind you, we should get the right candidate in the White House, and this is the closest election in US history, but I’m really sick of it contaminating my news. It’s all anyone talks about. I’ll give them that due to the circumstances, it should be talked about, but aren’t other things going on in the world as well? There’s nothing in the Daily except election stories for news. I don’t mind reading about what’s happening next, but I am sick of not being able to find out what else is going on in the world. Maybe I should watch the news. Of course, they’re providing top quality journalism on the subject as well. Bleh.
Classes started yesterday. I couldn’t get up for my first two. Luckily it was Com Sci and Com Sci recitation (optional anyway), so I didn’t miss much. I did make it to calculus, though. That’s the class we never, ever skip. That would be bad. There’s an exam in there on Friday. Eep. I don’t remember what was happening before break. I forgot the chain rule for a brief amount of time. This test is not going to be cool.
They installed the new circuit board in our house’s heater only to find that the fan wasn’t working. No heat yet. I would like the heat fixed so that I dont have to spend as much time downstairs. While I still don’t talk to my family downstairs, I like my room. Maybe I’ll fix my computer tonight. Maybe.
I’m having trouble focusing on academics so far this week. That’s not cool. I hope it goes away like within the next day. I remember when school started and my thoughts basically consisted of “La la la.” That’s sort of what it’s like now.
Now, let’s see if Crosswinds is being friendly today. Nope. it’s not.
