Well, the one day that I leave my CD wallet at home, I have a song in my head that I want to listen to. How annoying is that? I have Liberi Fatali going through my head at the moment. I’d write the lyrics here, but I’d mess them up horribly without the actual recornding playing or the book that had them in it. They’re in Latin and I haven’t heard it paying attention to the lyrics in a while, so it’d probably suck.

I’m mostly caught up in calculus now! I’m like doing the assignment that he last assigned. I have trouble taking higher derivatives for some reason. It’s not like it’s any different than taking the first derivative, I just fuck up along the way. Mainly forgetting to use the product rule in conjunction with the chain rule. Stupid product rule. Fuck it. Fuck it right in the ear. Chain rule happy.

Don’t know what I’m doing tonight, I’ll have to talk to Vero on that one. Maybe there’s a show. Hopefully for fun’s sake, hopefully not for my wallet’s sake. Somehow I doubt there’s a show, though. I think Vero would have mentioned i by now if there was. We’ll see.

I had Japanese last night! It was fun. The teacher doesn’t know what to teach us. She’s just like, “What do you want to know?” It’s not that she’s bad at it, she just doesn’t have a set curriculum. I learned like vocab mostly. It was fun. Itadarimasu! Hehehe. Tooire wa doko desuka? (”Where is the toilet?”).

I also rediscovered my Bravenet account and put a new counter on this page. I forgot that I even had a Bravenet account. Good thing I remembered. I don’t have to go find a new counter service this way. I didn’t set the counter where the last one left off (somewhere just below 500) like I should have, so it’s all low now. Oh well. I’m also considering playing with the other stuff my Bravenet account can do like random polls, lists of links to visitors pages, and other useless shit. Seems like it could be amusing. I’ll see.

Well, last week is over now. It’s nice to be done with. As expected, but doubted at times, I finished my ocmputer science project. Linked lists suck. I got a “B” on my psychology test, and my computer science test went alright last night. All is basically well in the academic world. Next thing to learn: the grade of my calculus midterm. Eeee. Hehe

We went to RENT this weekend. It kicked ass. We set off to get in line at 3:30 AM and were the first ones in line for the matinee. Naturally, we got front row tickets. THey weren’t front row center, for some reason, but they were still good seats. The show was awesome, I would say it was better than the cast that I saw in 1999. I got a shirt and a lapelle (sp?) pin too.

After RENT we saw the CR people for a while… then we hung out at Jenni’s house for hours upon hours. It’s all good, though. I’m considering going back to see them in two weeks when my family goes to Iowa City, but I don’t know if that might upset my family or something. Or maybe be an inconvenience, I don’t know. We’ll see if I even try it. If I don’t go, I get the house to myself, which kicks total ass.

I’m all done with Com S 101 now, so I only have two classes on Tuesdays, and as soon as I finish Library 160, I’ll only have two classes Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I’m looking forward to that. Next semester’s going to be a bitch, but there’s not a whole lot I could have done about it considering I have to finish the pre-major program before I can take most of my classes. Math 166 (Calculus II) and Com S 361(Intro to File Org. & Systems) next semester. Ew. Not to mention Cpr E 210(Intro to Dig. Tech).. I wonder what Cpr E courses are like? Fun, I’m sure.

Depressed yesterday. Don’t know why. I think I’m better now, but I’m really sleepy. My dad kept me up late.. We were just babbling, so I don’t actually hold some grudge against him for it or something.

I learned the chain rule(a calculus concept dealing with finding derivatives) yesterday. That was fun. Chain rule! Next is to learn the chain rule combined with the general power rule. I think I know it, but I need to look at the definition to be sure.

Wow. It’s been a long time since I’ve done this (six whole days hehe). It feels good to do again.

People are bitching that my trig teacher is going too fast. They’re all talking about how the other classes are three or four days behind us, and wonder how come we can’t go slower. It’s like, “You dip-shits. If we go any slower, we won’t finish the material for the final. Stop bitching about how you got a bad grade on the test, do the homework, go to office hours, and study more.” The complaints that they make are just rediculus. Grr.
