Worus

I really need to stop doing this “update in the middle of the afternoon” thing. It messes up my archive at home and I have to synch it before I can update again from home. Somehow, I don’t think that’s actually going to stop me from updating at school. We’ll see.

I had lunch at Jimmy John’s today. They have good subs. Good bread, and the sprouts in the subs taste really good if you ask me. Almost like peanut butter, but I might be crazy. Still, I like Jimmy John’s subs. They’re tasty.

My parents were rambling about how Nader is an enviromental wacko today. As far as I’ve ever heard the enviroment isn’t a major part of his platform.

I will give Apple this: Mac’s are really sleek looking, and it’s pretty. However, the OS and keyboards simply SUCK. The mice are fine once you get used to them, but these keyboards are hard to use if you ask me. Grr. The other thing is that the OS just lacks total customizability and some other stuff. Just thought I’d share that, it’s random, I know.

I accomplished two of the three major things I meant to last night. I finished my psychology reading and studied Japanese. The other thing was to do at least one assignment in calculus (two if I was lucky). I didn’t finish that, not because I didn’t work on calculus, but because I really suck at things like related rates. Story problems have always been a problem for me. When I was a child, teachers used to tell my parents that I had trouble with story problems. Well, here I am doing calculus (with vectors, wheeeee!) and I still can’t do story problems very well. I can find derivatives, but I can’t for the life of me do story problems.

I’m going to read the paper now.

Okay there was nothing interesting in the paper today. All that was remotely entertaining was that there was a near $10,000 discrepency in the hockey team’s budget. They found that there was an error in the bookeeping and an amount of $95 was written off as $9500. Whoops. Just goes to–only joking.

There was something that I was going to write about here, but for the life of me I can’t remember what it was and reading what was in my head when I updated yesterday only makes me thing of that same song again (Undersea Palace from Chrono Trigger: Brink of Time).

::sighs:: I think I’ll end this update like I end all of my updates, with the promise to go to calculus. I’ll let you all know how that turns out. hehe.
