Well.. It’s been some time, eh? Well, maybe not that long, but a long time for a web page update. Sorry about that, but I’m still trying to get the whole work and play schedule thing worked out. Right now I’m going to work and coming home to play all night. I have all this shit to do that I’m not getting done. I still have to write graduation thank you’s. I hope they don’t look rude when I get them done. I think I’ll do them Tuesday in the morning (this will be the real morning, the one you all call “morning,” not my own).

Lately I’ve been playing lots of Final Fantasy V. I really like that game. I’m considering naming it my favorite Final Fantasy of all time. The thing is, there is not one scenario in the entire game that I can think of that I do not enjoy. I enjoy every single scenario that I can think of. It’s just a really, really great game. The remake that I’m playing right now has it’s faults, but being able to read it all in English on the actual screen is probably enough to make up for it. I still prefer the Japanese cart version, however. There’s just so much to do in Final Fantasy V. The Job system is brilliant in itself. I can spend hours just playing with it. The story is excellent. Maybe not excellently written, but excellent in concept(I never expected the translation to be very good). And everything’s so animated. It’s not the type of scenario where everything is totally realistic looking. If something should look funny, it does. No one is trying to justify anything in this game. Maybe that’s why it’s so much easier to get immersed into.

Work’s been good lately. I was $10.25 short on Sunday. That’s not too bad, really. Take into account that I had $2200 of cash in my drawer, and that’s not bad at all. They’re giving me another raise too. They started the IPH Incentive Program. What this is is that if my items per hour (IPH) rating is 500 or greater on the monthly SWAS(I have no idea what this stands for) report, I get to keep a $0.25 raise. If it falls below 500, I have to give it up, but I can earn it back the next month. And trust me, I can do 500 IPH, especially if I’ll get extra money in wages.

Lately I’ve also been eating a lot. Basically, when I get bored, I eat. It’s funny how large my appetite has been lately too. Not at meal times, but rather all the time. I always have a constant appetite it seems. It’s strange considering how little I normally eat. I’m drinking a lot of tea lately too. I have a cup of raspberry tea(black) every day with lunch (at approximately 6p) and I have another cup of green tea at about 1a every evening. I guess it’s a good thing considering there anti-oxidents in black tea and there are twice as many in green tea. Yeah, free radicals are non-existent in my blood! It’s not for health reasons, though. I just like tea. The only health reason was that I decided to cut back my caffeine intake so that I’ll be able to wake up for ISU orientation on Wednesday.

I wanna go to a show Wednesday night. I hope I can. It depends on how much of orientation my parents let me skip out of. I think I can skip most of the stuff. I don’t really need to know how to make friends. If I get involved in something or just talk to people, I think I should be fine. And getting around Ames? My dad works in Ames, my mom goes there every day, I go there about every two weeks, and I used to live there. True, I don’t know how to get everyhwere in Ames by any means, but I think I can learn my way around the town without going on a bus trip.

Anyway, I promised myself I’d go to bed now.
